This place is worth more than a recommendation ! Very clean and nice flat for 2 persons, with a nice terras to eat outside or to enjoy the sun in late afternoon! Paul and Rima are perfect hosts , they really care about you and are very helpful with anything you ask them We stayed at many places in La Cala but this one we will surely remember as one of the best!

We arrived after a late flight and were warmly welcomed by the lovely Rema. She explained how everything worked, the local area, gave us the very informative welcome folder she and Paul had prepared , there was also a welcome pack including water, wine, tea, coffee etc. The apartment is exactly as described but the photos don’t do it justice. Perfect for a couple, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Paul and Rema were perfect hosts, always on hand for advice but not intrusive whatsoever. The apartment is a ten minute walk to both the centre and the beach, as a ‘mature’ couple we enjoyed this walk and walked most mornings along the fabulous boardwalk to Cachonda. Paul gave us recommendations for beach bars, restaurants and advice on how best to travel to Malaga and Marbella. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment and will definitely rebook on our return. Thank you Paul and Rema, we didn’t want to leave.

Paul und Rima waren hervorragende Gastgeber. Bereits vor unserer Anreise erhielten wir viele Empfehlungen, angefangen bei der Mietwagensuche bis hin zu diversen Wassersportangeboten in der Umgebung. Wir erhielten kurz vor der Anreise private Kontaktdaten sowie den Treffpunkt am Haus übermittelt, sodass wirklich nichts schief gehen konnte. Bei unserer Ankunft wartete Paul bereits auf uns und empfing uns wirklich sehr freundlich. Er führte uns durch die Wohnung, zeigte uns alles wichtige. Auf dem Tisch stand ein kleines Willkommensschild mit einer Willkommensmappe, ein Wein und eine Flasche Wasser sowie zwei Schlüsselbunde mit den Schlüsseln für Wohnung und Anlage. Anschließend führte Paul uns durch die Wohnanlage (vom Tiefgaragenstellplatz über den Pool bis hin zum Ausgang zum Aldi-Markt). Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und mit allem was man zum täglichen Leben braucht ausgestattet (es gab sogar eine Dolce Gusto Kapselmaschine). Die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei, es gab eine Kühl-Gefriekombination, Ofen, Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher, Bügelbrett und Bügeleisen, TV (auch einige deutsche TV-Programme). Beim nur ein paar Fußminuten entfernten ALDI konnte man alles kaufen, was man brauchte. Von der Bauarbeiten vor dem Balkon hörten wir während unseres 11-tägigen Aufenthalts genau 1 Stunde etwas, aber auch nur weil wir auf dem Balkon saßen. Ansonsten wurde dort scheinbar nicht oder lautlos gearbeitet. La Cala de Mijas eignet sich hervorragend für diverse Ausflüge. Auch da hatten Paul & Rima immer wertvolle Tipps für uns, ebenso wie für die richtige Restaurantwahl. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft von Paul&Rima bedenkenlos weiter, da wir uns hier wirklich sehr wohlgefühlt haben und einen wunderschönen, erholsamen Urlaub verbringen konnten. Paul & Rima were wundeful and careful hosts so we really recommend their appartement. Everything you need is there. In a near supermarket (3 minutes walk) you can buy everything you need. This is a very nice apartment in a great location. The bed was really comfy and I slept like a baby for the whole week :-) The supermarket is right next door and the village is a short walk away. Paul was an excellent host. We enjoyed ourselves - thank you for everything!

We were met by paul at almost 1 am, as we had the late flight in. We could not believe how hospitable and friendly paul was. He made our stay so welcome, and the place over exceeded our expectations. This is a great property. Very clean. Spacious and a great location with a 5 minute walk to the village. Communication with Paul was excellent. Great check-in as we were in communication from the airport. No hassle at all. Highly recommended.

Just spent 5 week's at Paul's place and didn't want to leave, it's perfect for everywhere close by , Aldi a few minutes walk, lidil and Mercadona a bit further but easy walking distance. La Cala is very close and has everything you possibly need, bars, coffee shops and loads of Restaurants to suit every one's pocket. There is a great bus service to fuengirola and Marbella and good walking areas close by. I'm a cyclist so was perfect for me with easy access into the Campo and beyond. The apartment was first class and very quiet, it has great wi fi and plenty of TV channels to keep everyone happy. The Balcony is large with enough room for sunbeds and table and chairs for eating outdoors. There is also a secure underground designated parking if you have a car I could not fault anything with this apartment and have already booked my next visit, Paul was always there if you needed anything very helpful

Paul and Rima are very nice and helpful hosts - always there to answer any requests. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The bed is large and the shower good. There is a large, south-facing balcony that gets the sun almost all day. It is well equipped and there is a TV which gets British programmes amongst others. Very convenient for the town and beach, and next to an Aldi supermarket. We had a lovely time there

La estancia ha sido perfecta. El apartamento está genial, nada más entrar notas el fresquito del aire acondicionado y lo limpio que esta todo, una primera impresión de 10. Paul ha hecho todo lo posible para hacernos sentir como en casa, con pequeños detalles como una botella de vino, cápsulas de café para los desayunos de la semana, sillas para la playa y un dossier con toda la información necesaria sobre el apartamento y la Cala de Mijas (muy bien traducido al español). Hemos sido sus primeros huéspedes españoles y la comunicación ha sido fluida a pesar de las dificultades por ambas partes con el idioma. En resumen, sin duda nos encantarÃa volver

Paul and his wife where absolutely warm and welcoming. Paul gave us the right directions to find the appartment. It is located nearby the supermarket and the beach. The swimmingpool was perfect, the house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. They responded very quick to our messages And welcomed us themselves when we arrived.
